About Petco Dog Training

Davis Straits Rd store

Falmouth's Petco is store 1856, at 35 Davis Straits Rd. Owners book dog training there by calling (508) 540-2842. On Sundays the trainers work 9 to 7; the rest of the week it is 9 to 9.

Groups sorted by age

Classes in Falmouth are grouped by a dog's age and stage. An 8-to-16-week puppy learns potty routines and is socialized with care; a pup between 16 weeks and six months reinforces those habits and starts on "leave it" and walking on a loose leash. From six months, a Falmouth dog can enter Fundamentals, which takes on jumping and barking, or the Advanced course for heel, distraction recall and polite greetings. Falmouth classes last an hour, meet across six weeks and keep groups small.

Private lessons

A certified trainer also runs 45-minute private sessions in Falmouth. First-timers begin with a goal-setting Private Lesson 101.
