About The Reliable Dog

About

The Reliable Dog is a school of dog training for Cape Cod and the South Shore with a holistic, balanced approach that builds obedience, confidence and resiliency together. It uses a marker-based system for every age, breed and temperament, and is led by a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals.

Programs

Day School is a semester-style program at a climate-controlled facility in Falmouth, mixing individualized training with structured play, rest and socialization, and covering greetings, boundaries, loose-leash walking, leash reactivity, fear and anxiety, impulse control and on- and off-leash recall. Board and train has dogs live and train with the head trainer during the week, with a hybrid option, and private lessons and monthly group classes for graduates are offered. An evaluation comes first.
