About PetSmart Dog Training

In-store classes off Eagle Road

PetSmart Dog Training in Meridian runs classes at the store at 1220 Eagle Rd N, near the Fairview Ave area. The store's accredited trainers use positive reinforcement in every class for puppies and adult dogs, with a structured approach where each session builds on the last.

Classes

Group classes are kept small, at 4-10 dogs, so dogs can practice responding to cues around other dogs and real distractions. There are three levels of training courses, and graduates can go on to more advanced skills such as special tricks and therapy dog training. Courses run over several weeks so owners can practice between sessions. Private classes offer individual sessions for dogs that need their own pace, and savings packages let owners combine two or more classes. The store also offers grooming, PetsHotel boarding and doggie day camp.

What to ask

Ask the store about current class pricing, start dates and which trainer leads each level.
