About Playground Pups

Playground Pups occupies 664-668 Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side and runs five published services: daycare, boarding, grooming, training and a puppy playgroup.

Training

The training is described as positive reinforcement work with trainers, for dogs of all ages, aimed at essential skills, improved behavior and confidence. It is a listed service line with its own page, not a note on the daycare page.

The puppy playgroup

This is the more distinctive offer: a safe, structured playgroup built specifically for puppies, where they socialize, learn manners and build confidence through positive interactions with other young dogs. The facility's own client accounts describe a Saturday puppy group that runs weekly, and vaccination-verified puppy play dates offered at no cost — the kind of thing that gets a nervous first-time owner through the first month.

Care

Supervised daycare with play, socialization and exercise through the day; boarding for a night or a longer stay; and grooming from baths and nail trims up to full grooms.
