About Polite Paws
Reward-based training in Madison
Polite Paws is a Madison dog training business established in 2011 by Jade Giuggio, CPDT-KA, ABCDT, offering reward-based, positive training on the Connecticut shoreline. It serves Madison, Guilford, Branford, Clinton and Killingworth, is insured, and says it is recommended by local veterinary hospitals such as Guilford Veterinary Hospital and East Shore Animal Hospital.
The trainer
Jade holds a B.S. from the University of New Haven, the CPDT-KA from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and the ABCDT from Animal Behavior College. She found her love for training while working with her own rescue, Tazzy, a 10 year old Siberian Husky, and later puppy-raised for Fidelco Guide Dog Organization.
Services and prices
Polite Paws specializes in private lessons in your home or out in public, tailored to puppy basics or concerns such as jumping, leash pulling and aggression, at $170 plus tax ($180.80 total) per session with no package required. The Polite Puppy package has a trainer work with your puppy while you are away, two one-hour sessions a week for four weeks, for $1275 plus sales tax, including socialization field trips, videos and homework for the family.
