About Positively Pet Partners LLC Medford, NY

One-on-one training in Medford

Positively Pet Partners LLC is a Medford dog training business serving Suffolk County. Its About page states it was founded in March 2013 by Judy Tarasek, who describes herself as an Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer (ABC-CDT) specializing in small dog and puppy training. Before training dogs she worked in information technology for over 30 years, and she works with local rescues to rehab shelter dogs and cats.

Method

Training is one-on-one, and the business states, "We only use Positive Reinforcement techniques". Packages are customized after a phone or in-person consultation, and all training is done on leash. A free 30-minute phone consultation is offered, along with Zoom sessions all year and outdoor sessions from spring to fall, weather permitting.

Training packages

Packages cover basic obedience on leash, problem behaviors such as nipping, jumping, counter-surfing, digging and excessive barking, shy and reactive dogs, house-training, crate training, impulse control, extreme leash walking problems and advanced off-leash obedience. Cat-and-dog integration and cat behavior work are offered too.

Contact

Call (631) 698-4920 for rates and appointments. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 12 pm to 5 pm.
