Power Pups Training and Fitness is run by Liz, who holds a master's degree in animal science and behavior and certifications in training, fitness and cooperative care, according to the home page. It is located in St. Charles County and meets clients in person in St. Charles and St. Louis counties, offering private training in the client's home or classes with other dogs.

Programs

The home page covers confidence work for fearful and reactive dogs, household manners such as jumping and pulling, and strength training for dogs that tire quickly or compete in dog sports, after a vet check. The Classes page runs Rally Obedience, Musical Freestyle, Real World Manners and Advanced Manners on Wednesday evenings at Busy B's in Fenton, including a CGC class with a test, at $140 per six-week class.

Approach

The site says its training is positive reinforcement based and aligned with the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior.
