About Pup Round-Up

What they offer

Pup Round-Up is a West LA based dog training business founded by trainer Belle Thompson, who holds the Animal Behavior College dog trainer certification (ABCDT). It sells training packages built around each family's needs rather than a one-size-fits-all program.

Approach

The business follows the Least Invasive, Minimally Aversive (LIMA) approach, grounded in science, and uses games and practical skills that apply to daily life. The site names excessive barking and poor leash manners among the problems it works on.

Background

The trainer describes years as a pet sitter and dog walker before certifying, and assisting with obedience classes at a local obedience club.
