About Pure Canine Training

What they offer

Pure Canine Training offers relationship-based dog training in West Covina, focused on communication, cooperation and trust rather than obedience alone. Its approach also weighs each dog's health, nutrition, exercise, enrichment and daily structure.

Programs

Training begins with an in-home consultation to assess the dog and set goals. Puppy Prep, for young puppies, covers potty and crate training, impulse control, nipping, chewing and jumping, and puppy socialization. Essential Manners works on the walk, sit and down stays, place, thresholds and problems such as jumping, digging and barking. Confident Canine is a longer program for house manners, recall, confidence building and behavior problems. Owners stay hands-on throughout.
