Pursuit K9 Obedience
Overview
About Pursuit K9 Obedience
What they offer
Pursuit K9 Obedience works in three areas: reactivity and behavior modification, obedience that holds up in real life, and service dog public access training. The trainer, Seth, works one dog at a time and starts most clients with a phone consultation.
Behavior work
The core focus is leash reactivity and redirection, fear, anxiety and avoidance, and dog-to-dog and dog-to-human aggression, with threshold and trigger work done in real environments.
Obedience and service dogs
Obedience training covers loose-leash walking, place and duration, emergency recall and off-leash reliability under distraction, for family dogs and working dogs alike. Owner-trained service dog teams get task training for the handler's specific needs, public access manners and neutrality, settling under noise and movement, and handler coaching and proofing. Sport and protection foundations and high-drive breed handling are also offered.
