About R and R Kennels LLC

Training, boarding and daycare in Pottsville

R and R Kennels is a dog daycare, boarding and training center in Pottsville. It describes itself as a provider of "safe, effective, and individualized training," and says its Certified Master Dog Trainers use "balanced techniques tailored to each dog's needs," with a focus on obedience, good manners and real-world reliability. Staff aim to let each dog progress "at a rate they can comfortably handle" and never rush dogs into situations they are nervous about.

Training programs

Board and train comes in puppy, intermediate, advanced and behavior modification levels. Private training covers beginner to advanced obedience and behavior modification, and group classes for all ages run at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Daycare training folds individual obedience sessions into daily socialization and enrichment. Retriever training is offered as well.

The facility

R and R describes a 5,000+ square foot climate-controlled building with more than 14,000 square feet of artificial turf play areas, plus a 2,500 square foot indoor play area for rainy days and temperature-sensitive dogs. Boarding dogs get their own kennel, with a larger deluxe option for multiple-dog families. Grooming is also available, and new clients can start with a free consultation.
