About Rain or Shine Canine LLC

What they do

Rain or Shine Canine is a one-trainer practice working with families on St Simons Island and the surrounding coastal Georgia area. The service list is priced openly on the site: a 60-minute session at $175 or a 90-minute behavior consultation at $225; a five-session puppy package over five to six weeks at $825; a four-session adult dog behavior coaching package at $660; and board & train at $225 a day with in-home boarding at $175 a day. Dogs presenting fear, anxiety, reactivity or aggression are required to start with the 90-minute consultation.

Method

The approach is stated plainly – positive, force-free and science-based, with the line "No harsh tools. No fear." The trainer describes coming to dog training after nearly two decades in office administration, and lists CBCC-KA, CPDT-KA and Family Dog Mediator credentials on the site. Puppy socials are small, trainer-led play sessions rather than open play.

What a stay looks like

Board & train dogs live in the trainer's home rather than a kennel, with at least two training sessions a day, enrichment walks and puzzles, outings to dog-friendly spaces for real-world practice, daily video updates, and an in-home handover plus follow-up coaching once the dog goes home. Every route in starts with a free consultation.
