About Reno Dogs
What they offer
Reno Dogs trains dogs through board and train programs in which the dog lives with a professional trainer and learns in homes, on trails and in public places. A puppy board and train for puppies of 8 to 20 weeks builds confidence, handling, manners and early obedience; a 5-week adult board and train for dogs of 5 months and older works on barking, jumping, leash pulling and over-excitement; and a 6- to 12-week behavior modification program takes on complex cases such as extreme reactivity, fear, resource guarding and aggression. Dogs are conditioned to the e-collar for consistent off-leash control, and clients get ongoing support and group classes after a program ends.
How they train
The site describes a motivational, science-based approach tailored to each dog's genetics and needs, with owners coached in the same communication and handling skills.
About the trainer
Owner and founder Courtney Dill founded Sierra Canine Training in 2018, which later became Reno Dogs, and has competed in French Ring Sport for more than six years.
