About Resorts Boarding & Play

Resorts Boarding and Play is a Hamburg boarding and daycare facility on Buffalo Street, and dog training is one of its five published services.

The training

The entry on the services page is short and specific: obedience classes, on the argument that they offer many advantages for both owner and dog.

What the business says it stands for

The mission statement is to treat each animal as their own and provide unconditional love in a Fear Free environment, and the site names six values: respect, experience and empathy, safety, outstanding care with ongoing continuing education, responsibility, and trustworthiness. That last one is written with unusual candor: the business says it may not be perfect, but commits to acknowledging mistakes, learning from them and improving.

The rest of the offer

Dog daycare is the core, with a published enrichment calendar. Dog boarding covers anything from a few hours to a few days. Pet grooming rounds it out, with the team discussing the owner's expectations for the dog's look beforehand. There is an owner portal for existing and new clients and an online appointment request.

Where it is
