About River Run Dog Training

RiverRun Dog Training's own home page leads with a change, so this profile leads with it too.

What has changed

In its own words: "After almost 30 years of teaching training class, RiverRun has decided to retire from teaching classes. While we will no longer have classes we will be offering the following: Rally Obedience seminars and workshops. Also limited private sessions." Anyone arriving expecting a weekly class schedule should read that first.

What is still offered

Rally Obedience seminars and workshops, and a small number of one-to-one sessions. The site publishes the private-session price directly: "The cost of each one hour+ session is $120 with packages of 4 available at a discounted rate." Enquiries and sign-ups go through the email address published on the site, and it points readers to its Facebook page for current information.

The background

The archived pages show what the business was built on: basic and intermediate obedience classes, CGC and CGCA, agility, AKC Rally obedience and therapy-dog training and testing, with a long run of Rally results – "Dozens of High in Trials and multiple Championships in 2022" – and students competing at CPE agility trials. It also ran charity events, including a Toys for Tots tug-toy workshop for a dog shelter.
