About Sadie’s School for Dogs

What they offer

Sadie's School for Dogs is run by an owner and head trainer who came to dog training through her own reactive dog. Before starting the business she worked at a training academy with a stay-and-train program, private lessons and group classes. The business serves Lawndale, Hawthorne, Gardena, Redondo Beach, Torrance, the Beach Cities and nearby South Bay towns.

Private lessons

Lessons are hour-long sessions in your home, your neighborhood or another convenient location, so the dog practices where it will use the skills. They include new skills and techniques, hands-on coaching while you practice, guidance for real-life challenges and structured homework.

What dogs learn

The site lists loose leash walking, confidence building and everyday manners, and says the trainer has worked with puppies, anxious dogs and dogs with behavior challenges such as resource guarding. Start by booking an assessment to set a training plan.
