About spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center

What they offer

The South Bay Pet Adoption Center in Hawthorne is one of the adoption centers of spcaLA, a humane society that dates to 1877. Besides adoptions it runs dog training classes for owned dogs, which it says began with basic obedience in 2000 and now include obedience, fun nose work, agility, private and specialty classes at locations across Los Angeles County. A spring 2026 announcement says the South Bay center now offers obedience classes.
