About Steadfast Dog Training

Advanced obedience in Brandon

Steadfast Dog Training is an advanced obedience dog training company serving Brandon and surrounding areas, with the motto Consistency is Key. Owner and lead trainer Rebekah Farmer is an Animal Behavior College certified dog trainer and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (Evaluator #91094), and writes that she has over 8 years of training experience with a wide range of breeds and behavioral issues. The business is insured through Pet Care Business Insurance.

Approach

Steadfast helps owners build a relationship with their dogs by communicating in a way the dog understands. Dogs learn to listen no matter what is going on around them, and everyone in the household is taught how to reinforce the manners, with tools to hold the dog and themselves accountable.

Board and train

The main program is a three week board and train in which the dog stays in a home environment with the trainer, around everyday distractions such as guests, children and other dogs, with field trips to build on distraction work. Getting started begins with an in-home consultation.

What to ask

Ask about program pricing and follow-up lessons after board and train. Call or text (813) 731-7359.
