About Sit Means Sit Dog Training Tampa

Sit Means Sit for Brandon and Tampa

Sit Means Sit Dog Training Tampa is a Sit Means Sit franchise serving Brandon, Tampa and surrounding Florida areas. It trains dogs of any age, size or breed, from puppy training to aggression issues, and builds a custom program for each dog and owner after a free training evaluation. The local team lists Creative Loafing Best of the Bay honors: Dog Training winner in 2020 and 2022, finalist in 2021 and 2023, and Best Doggy Day Care winner in 2023.

Programs

Board and Train Memberships are the most popular program: the dog stays overnight with the trainers, and owners are then taught the methods so leadership transfers back to them at home. Day Train has owners drop the dog off for a full day of training, followed by a private lesson at pickup. Private lessons are fully customizable, with evening and weekend appointments. Board and Tune offers boarding to existing clients with a training tune-up during the stay.

Education and CGC

The trainers are AKC Certified Evaluators and offer Canine Good Citizen certification to clients. They also run lunch and learn sessions for veterinary, grooming and other pet professionals, and seminars on body language, bite prevention and traveling with pets.

What to ask

Programs are priced after the free evaluation; call (813) 505-1337 and ask where the training facility is located.
