What they offer

Shaman's Way Dog Training offers in-home training and sessions at its location on Monteagle Street in Colorado Springs, starting with a free evaluation. Private packages cover basic manners and leash skills, advanced obedience with on- and off-leash recall, and a Behavior Reset package for dogs showing fear, reactivity or aggression.

Day school and board and train

Its immersive day school runs Wednesday to Sunday with daily drop-off and pickup, several training sessions a day, supervised socialization and daily progress updates, either as a 5-day program or as a 10-day program with two days at home in the middle. A boarding version follows the same pattern.

Therapy and service work

A 12-session therapy team program prepares dog and handler for CGC, CGCA and CGCU evaluations and includes practice in an elderly residential home. Service dog training starts with a 10-session foundations stage for dogs from 8 weeks to 6 months and continues on tracks such as PTSD, mobility support and autism support.
