What they offer

Shangri-La Kennels is a family-owned boarding, grooming and training facility on Washington Street North in Auburn, under the same ownership since 1984, with staff living on the premises. It has been training dogs professionally since 1975.

Training

The kennel offers group training classes, individual private lessons and behavioral problem solving for dogs that pull on the leash, do not come when called, jump on guests or are out of control, as well as for new dogs whose owners do not know where to start. Each dog gets a free evaluation and a conversation about the owner's needs before a training plan is recommended, and owners are taught why their dog behaves as it does and how to respond.

Boarding and care

Boarding, day care and grooming are also offered, with indoor and outdoor runs and supervised play areas.
