About Pawsitive Play, LLC

What they offer

Pawsitive Play is a pet care business based on Lewiston Road in Gray, founded in 2013. It describes itself as a place where training and playtime meet: its services include dog daycare, daycare training, dog training, adventure walks, neighborhood walks, pet sitting and boarding, and it serves Gray and towns around Greater Portland.

Training approach

The business says it combines fear-free training with all of its services and trains with positive reinforcement. In daycare, supervisors reinforce good behavior and teach dogs appropriate play and engagement, and dogs take part in enrichment activities between play sessions, including a themed monthly enrichment camp. Owners interested in training fill out a dog training questionnaire and behavior agreement before starting.

Other services

Daycare runs on weekdays with set drop-off and pick-up windows, and the business also offers boarding, a ride service for daycare dogs, dog walking and pet sitting.
