About Sidekick

What they offer

Sidekick Dog Training runs group classes for all levels, ages and breeds of dog from Bethel Burley Road in Port Orchard, from Puppy Foundations to Off-Leash Manners, along with Agility 101 and a Sports Sampler. Private lessons cover issues group classes do not, and Zoom lessons and an online Reactive Rover class are offered for remote learning.

About the trainer

Trainer Amanda has worked professionally with dogs since 2000, became a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) in 2006 and founded Sidekick Dog Training. She spent nearly ten years as a senior shelter trainer helping families with newly adopted dogs, and developed courses including Double Dog Manners, Manners About Town, Reactive Rover and Shy Dog Manners.

How she trains

She uses progressive, force-free training methods to improve communication between dogs and people.
