About Southlake Classic Pet Retreat

Boarding, daycare and training in Southlake

Southlake Classic Pet Retreat is a dog boarding, daycare and training retreat at 1211 Brumlow Ave in Southlake, open 7 AM – 6 PM daily. Its trainer, Stephanie, has six years in the pet care industry, three of them at the retreat, and recently completed four weeks of hands-on development with mentors who include AKC Certified Evaluators.

Training approach

Training is personalized and positive-reinforcement based, focusing on the whole dog: reliable obedience and clear communication around heel, sit, come, down and stay rather than chasing problems one at a time. Every program is all-inclusive, backed by unlimited lifetime lessons and guaranteed for the life of the dog.

Programs

Play & Train is a day program of obedience, exercise and structured play, with the dog heading home each evening; it targets leash pulling, jumping and barking. Board & Train is a multi-week stay with one-on-one sessions for more complex behaviors. Puppy Training covers chewing, potty training and leash manners. Graduates get unlimited private lessons for the whole family, and every dog starts with a free evaluation.

Other services

Overnight boarding is $69 per night with daycare included; daycare is $34 a full day or $24 a half day; bathing and full grooming are by appointment.
