About spcaLA Pet Adoption Center

What they offer

spcaLA is a Los Angeles animal welfare nonprofit whose Jefferson Boulevard adoption center is one of the locations for its dog training program. Its group classes are limited to four to eight dogs, which spcaLA describes as a semi-private setting with its trainers.

Classes

The program covers basic through advanced obedience for dogs and puppies, with classes such as Puppy Preschool, Puppy Kindergarten, Level 1 Magical Manners and Level 2 Outstanding Obedience, recall classes, and sport and activity classes including parkour, rally, Fun Nose Work and agility for novice and experienced dogs. Some classes run at its other centers, so check the schedule for the Los Angeles location.

Approach

spcaLA says its classes focus on positive reinforcement and fun with your dog.
