About Speaking K9

In-home training and board and train in Ogden

Speaking K9 is an Ogden dog training business led by owner and head trainer Lindsey Ellis, working with dogs and owners across the Ogden area and beyond. The team uses various techniques to find what motivates each dog and owner, with one-on-one instruction tailored to the dog.

Programs and prices

Private in-home appointments start at $150 per appointment. In-home packages are $550 for 4 appointments (Omega), $800 for 6 (Beta) and $1000 for 8 (Alpha), with an added fee for aggression-related behavior. The 28-day board and train covers house manners, group socialization, crate training, house breaking and specified behavior issues, and ends with an 8-week group class for the owner: $3000 for puppies 6 months and younger, $3500 for adult dogs, and $4750 for a service dog starter package focused on psychological service dog task foundations. E-collar training can be added for $500. Eight-week group classes run $300, litter testing is $35 per puppy, and military and first responders get 10% off.
