About Sutton Amthor Dog Training

Force-free, adventure-minded training in Waco

Sutton Amthor Dog Training offers one-on-one dog training from Waco to Temple and everywhere in between. Sutton describes herself as a certified dog trainer and adventure enthusiast who uses science-backed, force-free methods, with training built on cooperation, understanding and choice rather than control.

How it works

After a training inquiry form, the first session is an in-home consultation to build a custom plan, followed by private lessons that teach owners how to teach their dogs. Services cover basic training and manners such as leash walking and recall, puppy training and socialization including potty training, and real-world skills for the trail, campsite and road.

Adventuring modules

Once in-home loose leash walking and recall are in place, clients can book Adventuring Modules: Adventure Prep at home, private sessions on the trails of Mother Neff State Park or Cameron Park, and a Public Access session in busy stores.

Pricing

Sessions are pay what you want, pay what you can: clients choose what to pay each session and receive the same service either way. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm, at (254) 540-6137.
