About TAC7 K9S

TAC7 K9's is a dog training business, but not one a pet owner can book, and it is listed here so the distinction is clear rather than because it competes with the others on this page.

What it does

In its own words, the company "specializes exclusively in the training of Ignitable Liquid Detection Canines (ILDC) for use in operational arson investigations." The clients are fire departments and investigative agencies, and the dogs are working detection dogs deployed at fire scenes to find traces of accelerant.

Beyond the course

The part the site emphasizes is what happens after training ends. It advertises 24/7/365 support for handlers whether in the field or remote, and describes maintaining a nationwide network of ILDC handlers who exchange ideas and work through problems together, with the company staying involved when issues come up rather than treating delivery as the end of the relationship.

For pet owners

There is no obedience, puppy or behavior service here. If you are a dog owner looking for training, one of the other listings in this metro is what you want.
