About Tail to Tail Training
Houston trainers since 2011
Tail to Tail Training is a Houston dog training company that says it has worked all over the Houston area since 2011 and has trained over 1,000 dogs and their families. Owner Christine Schnitzer started after rehabilitating her own severely human- and dog-aggressive dog, Pup, and the team now includes trainers Toni Martinez and Joseph. The company lists the Pasadena Animal Shelter, the Gulf Coast Bull Terrier Club, Family Animal Hospital Friendswood and the Brazoria County District Attorney among those who trust it.
How it works
The team takes on the time-consuming foundation work of training and then teaches owners how to maintain it, with maintenance classes available afterward. Common problems include pulling on the leash, running off, barking at doors and fences, reacting to dogs, cats, cars or people, jumping and poor manners. Board and train is offered after an evaluation. Getting started means filling out a contact form, followed by a call or text to build a custom plan.
What owners say
One client wrote that the team "used positive reinforcement to transform him into a wonderful member of the family."
