About The Barking-lot

What it is

The Barking-Lot LLC is a Lake Geneva pet business whose own page title reads "Dog Boarding, Dog Daycare, Dog Grooming, Training & Natural Pet Food in Lake Geneva." Training is one lane inside a larger operation – the site's own menu lists doggie daycare, pet boarding, grooming, training, retail and in-home services – so a training inquiry here lands at a boarding and daycare facility that also teaches classes.

The training on offer

The training page is short and specific. It describes "Balanced dog training with focus on behavior and obedience" and says "Our trainer is currently offering three different training classes": "Basic Obedience Classes," "Intermediate Obedience Classes" and "Advanced Obedience Classes." On format it states that "All training options have a specific day and time they meet on for 8 consecutive weeks," and it publishes a price on that page: "$240 for each 8 week session." The page closes with "Call today for more information or to sign up!"

Booking

Booking runs through an outside portal rather than a form on the site: "Interested in becoming a part of our furry family? Visit Pawpartner.com to create an account. From there you can enter vaccine records, contact information, sign our agreements and request services! All services requested on the app are confirmed or waitlisted by staff once received."

Before you book

Ask who teaches the classes, class sizes and prerequisites, and whether puppy or behavior help is offered.
