About The Beauty of Dogs

Services

The Beauty of Dogs, run by Rebecca Gamez, is a dedicated dog-training and behavior practice serving Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley. Offerings include puppy programs, dog behavior training, human-dog team training, socialization and play-and-train, and facilitated sessions for people.

Approach

Gamez describes her method as "trauma-informed dog training" drawing on nervous-system awareness, somatics, Poly-Vagal Theory, neurobiology, IFS, and EMDR modalities. The focus is on creating a safe environment and addressing the dog's emotional state "instead of just trying to manage behaviors."

Good to know

Gamez presents herself as a dog behaviorist and somatic practitioner. The site footer shows a 2016-2026 copyright, indicating operation since at least 2016. References to walks and guests suggest work happens at the client's location. If you want a relationship- and emotion-focused approach, this is the angle here.
