The Diligent Dog is a Conroe training business offering biology-based canine behavior solutions. It is run by Mallory Robinson, SBA, who is credited with more than 20 years of professional experience and certifications ranging from scent detection to shelter behavior. As a Shelter Behavior Affiliate, it follows the IAABC Code of Ethics. The trainer's home sits 5 minutes from I-45 and downtown Conroe.

Programs

Dayschool combines daycare and training, giving a dog up to 12 hours of training sessions and structured socialization, with punch cards and monthly memberships. Day Tutoring sends a trainer to your home for a mid-day session or neighborhood field trip. Private Training is in-home coaching for the whole family, or virtual for owners outside the area, and is popular for CGC, PDA and trick titles. Lodge n' Learn is immersion training in the trainer's home in 2, 3 and 4-week packages covering sit, down, stay, come and place, with in-home follow-up sessions.

Behavior work and rescue support

For fear and aggression, the team works with area veterinarians and veterinary behaviorists and uses counter-conditioning and distanced desensitization. Stay n' Study and shelter-specific programs support approved shelter and rescue partners.
