About The Dog Deacon Dog Training

The Dog Deacon Dog Training works out of Boone Farm Road in Mocksville, an address the site repeats in its own contact block. It offers a free consultation as the way in.

Who the trainer is

The about page is a straightforward career account of Mark Minton. He studied fisheries and wildlife biology at North Carolina State University, graduating in 1993, began his professional career as a Wildlife Enforcement Officer in 1997, and moved to a K9 Officer role with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission in 2004. He and his K9 partner Bonnie attended Vetosa Kennel's K9 Academy, where the site says they received training and certifications in obedience, tracking and detection.

How the business started

After the academy, Mark trained his own dogs and those of friends. The site says he relocated to Mocksville in 2014 and decided to pursue dog training professionally, which is when The Dog Deacon was established.

What the site shows

Alongside the training pages there are reviews and testimonials, a photo gallery and videos. One caption dates a client obedience session in a public store in Mocksville, which fits the way the work is described – obedience taken out of the training room.
