About The Dog Stop – Richmond VA

What it is

The Dog Stop Richmond is the local site of a national all-inclusive dog care franchise. Training is one service among several rather than the core of the business: the location also offers boarding, daycare, grooming and a retail store.

The facility

The site describes a 12,500-plus square foot indoor and outdoor facility on West Broad Street, with luxury boarding accommodations, an interactive and social daycare experience, and a grooming area the business calls a spa-like retreat. One-on-one enrichment activities are offered alongside group play.

Webcams

The distinguishing practical feature is live DogCams in all daycare spaces, viewable by owners on a smartphone or through the website. The location publishes several camera feeds by area.

Training

The national brand runs a training program alongside its Dog-ED education material. Call the location to ask about the curriculum, methods and program lengths.

What owners say

Reviews published on the site emphasize the staff knowing individual dogs, the range of reasonably priced services, and the webcams as a reassurance for anxious owners.
