About Dog Training Elite Richmond

What it is

Dog Training Elite Richmond is the local operation of a national training brand, offering both in-home and facility training options from a location on Staples Mill Road.

Programs

The program list is broad: obedience training, puppy training, service dog training, anxiety and aggression work, therapy dog training and group classes. Service dog training is given particular prominence, with the network stating its programs are built on 40-plus years of experience.

Behavior solutions

A separate behavior section covers socialization, biting, fear and reactiveness, separation anxiety, excessive barking, staying and coming, potty training, and destructive chewing and digging.

What the training covers

The site lists concrete skills rather than slogans: leash walking and heel training, barking issues, aggression and reactivity, jumping and hyperactivity, sit and stay commands, recall, boundary training such as staying off furniture or beds, vehicle behavior, and training for specific tasks.

Philosophy

The stated belief is that sustained obedience comes from empowering owners and their dogs to build strong, lasting bonds through training. The business says it works with dogs of any breed, size or age and equips owners with lifelong skills.

Practical details

A free assessment is offered, booked by form or phone, and the business advertises third-party payment plans for training. As with any franchise location, ask which programs are run locally and by which trainer.
