About The Dog Wizard – Dog & Puppy Obedience Training St. Petersburg

The Dog Wizard in St. Petersburg

The Dog Wizard St. Petersburg is the local location of The Dog Wizard dog training company, working by appointment Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Programs include board and train, private lessons, puppy training and group classes, with in-home or mobile options, and every client starts with a free evaluation.

Method

The St. Petersburg trainers describe themselves as balanced trainers who work with a range of tools, from food to collars to remote collars, and help owners choose the tool that suits the dog and that they are comfortable using. Training goes beyond sit, come and down, aiming to keep a dog engaged and following through with commands in distracting environments.

Programs

Behavior services cover problem solving, socialization, separation anxiety, aggression rehab and rescue rehab, alongside obedience programs and puppy raising. Graduates of the obedience programs get ongoing group class support. Training programs start at $250, with each plan customized after the evaluation.
