About The Doghouse, LLC

Family-owned training and boarding

The Doghouse, LLC is a family-owned dog training and boarding facility in Pinellas Park, operated by Carrie Silva Wooddell and Jordan Wooddell. It has served the St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay area since 2005 and specializes in basic and advanced obedience, leash reactivity, socialization and fear issues, sports training and behavior modification.

Programs

Training programs are modular and built around each dog's learning style. Foundation training covers reliable obedience and manners. Reactive Rehab targets lunging and barking on leash at people, dogs or wheels. The Aggression program focuses on dog or people aggression, with acceptance case by case. The Distraction program builds reliability outdoors and in public, and a Private Behavior Analysis evaluates problem behaviors. Boarding is also available.

The team

Head trainer Carrie Silva Wooddell is a former contracted obedience trainer for the ATF Special Response Team's canines and a Certified Hearing Service Dog Instructor. She has earned titles in French Ring, Mondio Ring and IPO with her dog Ajax, competed on the world team in 2016 and teaches online for Leerburg. Jordan Wooddell manages operations. Trainer Liz Martinez is an AKC CGC Evaluator with AKC obedience, rally and scent work titles.
