About The Loyal Canine Dog Training

TLC Dog Training

The Loyal Canine Dog Training (TLC Dog Training) is a veteran-owned trainer associated with Brooksville that offers personalized training across the greater Tampa area. Its trainers include Kim Brewer, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Illinois and is a certified Professional Dog Trainer from the Tom Rose School, and Lewis Collins, a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with over a decade training and handling military working dogs. TLC names memberships in the IACP, the American Working Malinois Association and USCA, plus AKC's Canine Good Citizen program.

Approach

TLC uses a balanced approach built on three principles: timing, motivation and consistency.

Programs

Training Camps, for dogs 6 months and up, have the dog live with a trainer at the trainer's home, with regular field trips to parks, stores and restaurants for real-world distraction work. Camps cover sit, down, come, heel and climb plus manners and behavior problems across three levels, and include follow-up private lessons. Puppy Preschool builds early obedience. Private lessons run in the owner's home or a public location. Graduates can return for boarding with continued training.
