About The Prominent Dog Training Academy

The Prominent Dog Training Academy trains in Greensboro and sells one format: board and train, structured into four named programs of fixed length.

The four programs

Quick Start is a three-week program aimed at busy owners. The Puppy Program is four weeks and is pitched at setting a new dog up rather than fixing one. The Problem Pet Program runs six weeks and is described as correcting aggressive and reactive behaviors. The Prominent Pet Program is a four-week comprehensive program covering off-leash training and what the business calls real-world control.

Where the dog actually stays

This is the detail the business leads with. The dog learns in a real home rather than a kennel, so the behavior transfers when it goes back to the client's house; and it is worked in public environments like parks and stores rather than only in a controlled facility. The site also describes social learning through exposure to other balanced, trained dogs.

Method

The published approach is motivation-first: engagement is built before accountability, and the program is tailored to the dog's behavior and temperament and to the owner's goals.

Who runs it

Alex Snowber is named on the business's own Meet the Trainer page, with over 15 years of professional experience stated.
