About Top Dogs Club
Top Dogs Club occupies a building on 51st Avenue in Long Island City and calls itself the first local dog daycare and boarding center with a private outdoor yard. The stated mission is the physical, mental and emotional well-being of every dog in its care, and the phrase it repeats is "where play meets purpose."
Training is a real product here, not a side note
The site publishes a training services section with its own policies page. Two formats are sold: group training classes and 1:1 in-home training for pup and parent. The class range is described as running from puppy foundations through city manners to trick training, with the site's own line being that there is "a class for every stage." One class is specifically pitched at separation anxiety, basic obedience, or introducing a puppy to a new baby – a combination that tells you the clientele is young families in Hunters Point.
Structured daycare
The daycare is deliberately not open free play. Dogs are grouped and the day is built around structured play, socialization, enrichment and real rest. A client account on the site describes a dog coming home tired but not overstimulated, and the staff giving daily notes on which behaviors were being corrected and which dogs their dog chose to play with. Boarding runs in the same building with supervision throughout.
Practicalities
Hours are published (Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, with weekend hours), and the site is explicit that a place in a class or in private training is only confirmed once payment has been received. Agility equipment in the yard is mentioned by clients. Booking and contact both run through the site.
