About Train ME Animal Training

What they offer

Train ME Animal Training teaches group dog training classes at the Go Dog Go Training Center in Saco. Its trainer is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, a licensed Wag It Games instructor and an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator with a degree in animal behavior, and uses evidence-based positive reinforcement.

Classes

Classes run for five weeks and are designed to help owners train around distractions with the support of other students. Puppy Start Right Preschool, with rolling admission, is for puppies in their socialization period. Puppy Foundations covers basic obedience for puppies under six months, and Family Dog Foundations levels one to three build skills for older dogs, the third preparing for the Canine Good Citizen test. A Polite Leash Walking class and Smart Dog Games are also offered.

Private training

The business has offered private training packages at the same training center, including a welcome-home package for new dogs and a loose-leash walking package, but its services page says it is not accepting new private clients at this time.
