About Diamond K9 Dog Training

What they offer

Diamond K9 is a balanced dog training business based on Elm Street in Biddeford, serving owners from Saco, Portland, Scarborough, Kennebunk, Arundel and nearby towns. It uses rewards extensively alongside tools such as e-collars, and its programs include training equipment and lessons for the owner.

Board and train

Home-based board and train programs keep the dog in a normal home setting with daily training, working on obedience, leash manners, off-leash skills and, where appropriate, behavior challenges. The entry-level two-week program is for dogs with minimal behavior issues, and each program ends with lessons that teach the owner to carry on.

Private programs

An obedience and off-leash skills program of four private sessions makes obedience dependable around distractions and builds a foundation for off-leash reliability. A longer private behavior program is aimed at moderate to severe reactivity, anxiety or aggression, as well as territorial behavior and resource guarding.

Puppies and online learning

A puppy program combines two home-based stays several months apart with practice at home in between, covering foundation cues, crate and potty routines, leash engagement and impulse control. Online courses introduce e-collar training.
