Overview
About Train Walk Poop
An owner-run training school
Train Walk Poop is a dog training school in South Salt Lake founded by Ryan Gwilliam, a Certified Dog Trainer (IACP) who says he has been training dogs since 2007 and has trained thousands of dogs. He describes moving away from both the tough way and endless treats toward teaching through play and connection so dogs make good choices on their own.
Programs
Puppy and adult programs come as boarding school or boot camps, private sessions, group classes and day training, with daily report cards. Owners then get hands-on sessions so the dog listens to them, backed by the Dependable Dog Guarantee. Puppy training covers potty training, nipping and excitement control. The team says it works with dogs other facilities turn away.
Daycare and boarding
Training-based daycare and boarding run 365 days a year with an average social class size of 8 dogs and strict drop-off windows. The business has appeared on Fox 13 News and ABC 4 and published an article in the IACP Safe Hands Journal.
What owners say
One client called their trainer "a 12/10 trainer" and said their on-edge border collie pup became a calm dog they can walk.
