Trajectory Dog Training is a one-trainer business in Melbourne run by Tonya, MS, CCDT, serving Melbourne, Palm Bay, Viera, Cocoa and the rest of Brevard County in person, and remote clients virtually. A former pharmaceutical chemist with a Master of Science, she turned to training after her own dog became reactive, and much of her work now focuses on reactive dogs and on raising puppies.

Programs

Training is private and one-on-one in the client's home and around town, from Wickham Park to Viera sidewalks. Adult dogs can join Ascent, for loose-leash walking, recall and calm public manners, or Odyssey, for reactivity, leash aggression and anxiety. The Puppy Pros division includes Build (8 to 16 weeks) for socialization, crate and potty skills and bite inhibition, Launch (4 to 12 months) for leash skills, recall and house manners, and Journey, which combines both with a year of coaching. Each program includes written milestones and handler coaching. A seasonal Pub Manners group class, capped at 6 dogs, meets at a local brewery.
