About Unleash’d K9

Balanced training in the North Miami area

Unleash'd K9 is a balanced dog training business based in the North Miami area, offering board and train, private sessions and behavior modification across three South Florida counties. Head trainer and founder André Morais grew up in northern Portugal, spent over a decade as a personal trainer and fitness director, and started training after working daily with his American Bulldog/Staffordshire mix, Storm, now his demo dog. The business cites 500+ dogs trained.

Programs

The Unleash'd method rests on structure, engagement, obedience and accountability, and the team trains "both ends of the leash." The 4-week board and train ($3,500) has the dog live in the team's home for 28 days, then ends with a 2-3 hour drop-off session at the owner's home, two follow-ups and a month of group classes. Private sessions ($300 single, packs available) coach owners in their home, parks and streets. Puppy Jumpstart ($499) gives two in-home sessions for puppies 6-18 weeks old. Behavior modification for aggression, reactivity, anxiety and fear uses desensitization and counter-conditioning, priced after assessment. Trainer-supervised boarding and daycare use a 9,000 sq ft fenced yard.
