About Unleashed K9 LLC

Training from pet manners to working dogs

Unleashed K9 of Minnesota is a dog training company serving Osseo and the wider Twin Cities metro, with programs that range from everyday pet obedience to sport, protection and detection work. It describes a method that starts with positive reinforcement (food, toys and praise) and, at the appropriate stage of training, adds negative reinforcers to teach the consequences of unwanted behavior. Each dog is evaluated first, and the approach is chosen to fit the owner's goals.

Programs

Board and train programs cover sit, down, recall, place, distance downs and holding positions around heavy distractions. Specialty work includes service dog training, scent detection (narcotics, explosives and AKC scents), tracking and trailing, behavior modification for aggression and reactivity, e-collar training and personal protection dogs. On-site plans include five private one-hour lessons, and in-home sessions are offered with head trainer Kenneth.

The trainers

Owner Kenneth P. trained at Tarheel Canine under Jerry Bradshaw, completed NePoPo certification with Bart Bellon, and is an AKC CGC and ATT Evaluator. Trainer Emily S. has a background in IGP, PSA and Mondioring and also holds NePoPo certification.
