About Von Jäger K9, Dog Training And Protection Dogs

What they offer

Von Jäger K9 is a working-dog kennel near Grove. Its home page says it provides civilian training "from basic obedience to personal protective services", and lists obedience options, personal protection training, handler courses, aggression rehab and virtual dog training appointments. It also sells trained dogs: multi-purpose canines, personal protection dogs, tracking and apprehension dogs and detection dogs.

How training works

The kennel says it trains the handler as well as the dog, "recognizing the team is only as strong as it's weakest member". Owners can have a trainer come to their residence or place of business, or leave the dog at the kennel for board and train.

Working-dog background

The home page says the kennel has 15 years of experience working with military and police canines and offers detection dogs for contract services. Ask which program fits a family dog, and what a board-and-train stay includes, when you call.
