About Washburn K9
In-home training in Omaha
Washburn K9 serves Omaha and surrounding areas with one-on-one training built around each dog-and-owner team. Owner and head trainer Tiffany is an Air Force veteran and special needs mom who has worked with clients and their dogs since 2021, helped by her Bernese Mountain Dogs Kevin and Molly.
Approach
Washburn K9 uses a reward-based balanced approach, starting with foundations and building a positive relationship and clear communication between dog and handler. Tiffany aims to be as force-free as possible and may recommend specific training tools when they help.
Services
Options start with a phone consultation of up to 30 minutes or a 60-minute in-home consultation that produces a customized plan. Puppy Fundamentals is three sessions on essential care, crate training and potty training. Foundation programs run from Basic (two in-home sessions) to Intermediate (five sessions on engagement, leash walking and basic obedience) and Advanced (ten sessions including minor leash reactivity). There are also 30-minute walk and train or enrichment visits and a Pup Search Service that guides families through choosing and bringing home a dog.
