About Wet Nose Warm Heart Dog Training

What they offer

Wet Nose Warm Heart Dog Training works with pet dogs across the Palos Verdes area, Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan Beach, Torrance, San Pedro and Long Beach. The trainer describes herself as a LIMA or balanced trainer whose college focus was animal behavior.

Training options

– **Private in-home sessions:** a longer first session reviews the dog's history and goals, then follow-up sessions build on it. The site lists unwanted behaviors, potty training, obedience, resource guarding, leash manners, reactivity and socialization among the topics.

– **Group classes:** three levels, starting with essential cues, focus, settling and loose leash walking, then heel, longer stays and go to place, and a small fine-tuning class. Classes meet at a pet store in Rolling Hills.

– **Puppy package:** two private sessions plus the first group class, with help on crate and potty training, nipping and chewing.

– **Virtual coaching:** phone or video sessions for owners outside the service area or between visits.

Good to know

The FAQ says owners take part in every session so the training carries on after the trainer leaves.
