About White Mountain College for Pets and Boarding Lodge

Training, lodging and daycare in Holderness

White Mountain College for Pets and Boarding Lodge in Holderness offers dog training, pet lodging, daycare and a pet spa. The business says it was founded in 1996 by Mike Robertson and has "seen thousands of pets" and their owners. Cat and dog boarding takes place on a 15-acre campus.

Training approach

College for Pets describes its training as personalized: owners tell the team about their pet, situation and goals, and receive a recommended program of training or enrichment steps. Training addresses problems such as biting, nipping or possessiveness, destructive chewing or aggression, excessive barking, fears and anxieties, and stealing food. Programs also go above and beyond basic obedience, and the team works with owners whose goal is a skilled service dog. Client reviews mention puppy classes and obedience foundation.

Daycare and spa

Daycare offers socialization plus physical and mental exercise, and the spa provides grooming. There is also a pet supply shop.

What owners say

One client wrote: "It has changed everything! Our house is calmer and our walks are a pleasure."
